Our Food Menus



Spitfire Hog Roasts, based near Norwich offer a huge selection of bespoke, freshly prepared menus that are proper crowd pleasers. Our affordable outdoor catering ideas are available throughout the year, regardless of the weather. We proudly offer tailor made menus, allowing you to mix and match as well as having a variety of salads, vegetarian dishes and desserts to accompany your meal. Perfect for feeding the masses at your Wedding Reception, an intimate Garden Party, Birthday Celebration or even some Blue Chip clients that you are wanting to entertain at your next Corporate Function.

There are a few suggested menu ideas listed below but – they are only OUR suggestions! They are there for you to get an idea of what we can offer and as a basis for you to mix and match, alter and generally create your own bespoke menu. We will help and offer advice along the way, so together we come up with a menu that is right for YOU.

The latest addition to our catering menu is “THE BANQUET”. A flavour packed combination of slow roasted chicken, succulent turkey, tender beef roasts, flavoursome lamb racks and fluffy jacket potatoes, roasted in a variety of ways to offer you the ultimate main event. This offers a unique change from the traditional hog roast or barbeque!
Our specially adapted Chicken Rotisserie can slow roast up to 20 whole chickens and turkeys. All at the same time!
Served throughout the year with bespoke menus to suit each season.

Why not go for our slow roasted, oh so delicious Lamb on the Spit? Truly mouth watering and something different to offer your guests! The lamb is basted overnight in our homemade rub which brings out the flavour and natural sweetness to the meat – without overpowering it. Depending on the size, a whole lamb will feed up to 60 hungry guests.

Good luck in choosing between flat iron steak, meaty pork ribs, lamb chops and big boy burgers for your next BBQ – Not to mention hot and spicy buffalo wings or sizzling sausages. And that’s just for the main course! Our BBQ Catering is always a favourite at any outdoor event…and not just for the skills shown by the tong master! For the best of both worlds, why not combine it with one of our succulent hog roasts?

The Mighty Hog Roast

Succulent hog and spit roasts are our speciality! Our skilled chefs will ensure that you are served the freshest and finest hog roast, accompanied by delicious sides of your choice. Our bespoke menus can be combined with our Gourmet BBQ, slow roasted Lamb on the Spit or our succulent Chicken Roasts? A wide variety of fresh salads, veggie options and desserts can be included – or not – making it an occasion for everyone to enjoy.

Lamb on the Spit

Our locally sourced, succulent whole lambs are slowly roasted on our traditional, rotisserie style spit. The lamb roast takes outdoor catering to the next level of AWESOMENESS. It’s truly delicious, creates a great spectacle and is perfect for those smaller parties.

Barbeque Catering

Get the Summer started with our sizzling bbq menus. We pride ourselves on serving up delicious BBQ food and fantastic service every time! Why not combine it with our mighty hog roast? Best of both worlds really!

Salad Bar

Our range of freshly prepared salads can double up as vegetarian dishes too so no one is left out in the cold. Not everyone loves meat – and that’s ok! Depending on your menu, a variety of vegan, gluten free and vegetarian dishes can be included.


Chargrilled Veggie Skewers* – Red onion, mushroom, courgettes, halloumi*, red, yellow and green peppers
Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms* – Garlic butter & cheddar cheese / Mixed vegetables / Tomato & mozzarella / Stilton & leek / Pancetta, spinach & parmesan / Garlic & chilli in bread crumbs
Corn on the Cob* – BBQ corn on the cob with melted butter served as “lollipops”
Grilled Mixed Root Vegetables* – Sweet potatoes, button mushrooms, butternut, carrots and turnips with freshly chopped thyme: Perfect for those cold Winter days
Black Bean Burgers – Vegan or Vegetarian friendly with lime and coriander, in a gluten free roll
Country Pork Sausages – Gluten Free, handmade country pork sausages. Perfect for coeliacs but still delicious!

Charcuterie Deli Boards – A selection of cured meats to include salami, parma ham and chorizo served with cheese and a choice of chutneys.


Hot Diggity “Dawgs” – Footlong “Big Dawg” sausage on a freshly baked roll, topped with caramelized onions & sauce of your choice
Steak Prego Rolls – Flame grilled strips of juicy steak in a floured (prego) roll, topped with cheese and flaming hot peri peri sauce
Slow Spit Roasted Hog – Don’t mess with perfection! Served with wholegrain mustard and apple sauce, topped with crispy, crunchy crackling in a freshly baked bap.
Lamb Shish Kebabs – Tender pieces cubed lamb, basted in our secret dry rub and served simply with rocket leaves and tomatoes in a soft white tortilla

Fruits of the Forest Cheesecake –  Light vanilla cheesecake on a buttery biscuit base topped with blackberries, raspberries and redcurrants, topped with strawberry jelly..
Baileys & Toffee Cheesecake –  Irish cream cheesecake with caramel sauce and biscuit crumb base, finished with a chocolate coffee bean and a caramel glaze.
Honeycomb Cheesecake – A light honeycomb cheesecake mix on a buttery biscuit base and decorated with milk chocolate honeycomb nibbles, white chocolate shavings, sweet snow & cocoa powder
Cherry Bakewell Tart – Almond cream sponge and raspberry jam in a sweet pastry case. Topped with Morello cherries, flaked almonds and an apricot glaze.
Belgian Chocolate Cake – A denser, more continental sponge, filled with light chocolate ganache, topped with even more, darker ganache.
Fresh Dairy Cream Profiteroles – Delicious choux pastry buns filled with fresh dairy cream. Served with chocolate sauce
Dark Chocolate & Salted Caramel Torte – A dark chocolate mousse on a sponge base, finished with salted caramel fudge pieces and dusted with cocoa powder
Fresh Fruit Salad – Seasonal fresh fruit salad served with cream
Banana and Toffee Tart –  A sweet pastry case lined with dark chocolate, layered with rich toffee sauce & a light banana cream, topped with dark chocolate shavings

Gluten Free dairy Cream Profiteroles – Delicious gluten free choux pastry buns, filled with fresh dairy cream. Served with chocolate sauce
Glitzy Chocolate Orange Torte – Gluten free chocolate crumb base, a layer of dark chocolate filling, topped with a thin layer of dark chocolate ganache and gold sugar pieces.
Gin Fizz, Lime & Elderflower Cheesecake – On a gluten free biscuit base sits the gin, lime and elderflower cheesecake,  topped with lime flavoured glaze and flakes of golden sugar
Chocolate Cake – Gluten free chocolate sponge filled with a chocolate buttercream icing with milk chocolate chips and topped with more chocolate buttercream icing
Caramel Shortcake Tray Bake – A sticky caramel sandwiched between a shortcake base and Belgian milk chocolate topping.
